Street children are generally deprived of their right to education and have little or no access to the formal education.

The majority of them are illiterate and have either never been enrolled, or have dropped out of the formal education, and it is difficult to secure funding for the kind of informal education which suits street children’s lives.

At ROHMI, we intend to build an institution that will help these street children learn some skill like carpentry, tailoring, masonry etc to build a their confidence by allowing their natural character to develop, giving them the opportunity of living and working as part of a civilized society.

Through this programme, the street children will be able to stand on their own and be productive and self-sufficient in society.
